Reaching, Teaching, SERVING, and Sharing Christ
Pastor Christopher Crume was called to Faith Lutheran Church in April of 2013. He received his Masters of Divinities degree from the Concordia Seminary of St Louis in 2006. Upon graduation he began his ministry at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Clyde, NC where he spent 7 wonderful years. Throughout his ministry, Pastor’s mission is best embodied by our church motto, “Reaching, Teaching, Serving, and Sharing in Christ.” He defines his pastoral role as a vehicle to enable all members of Faith and the surrounding community to a life centered upon Christ and His teachings. With strong emphasis on family development, Pastor guides our church’s prevalence in our local Forks Township community. In the three years Pastor has been with us, we have had substantial growth in small group Bible studies and increases in both church membership and volunteers. Pastor believes we are blessed at Faith Lutheran Church as “we have a gifted congregation with people who are passionate about their church and the ministry God has placed before us.” The beautiful thing is that the more people we get involved in the ministry, the more “ministry” we will be able to do. Hopefully, all in accordance with God’s good and gracious will.
Pastor celebrates 14 years of marriage in 2016 with his lovely bride, Megan. He has two beautiful daughters, Caris and Sadie. Faith Lutheran Church is certainly blessed to have each of them as part of our congregational family. We look forward to many wonderful years working together to the glory of God- the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Welcome to Faith Lutheran Church! We are a group of Christians who work to Reach, Teach, Serve, and Share Christ with the community of Forks Township and surrounding areas. As part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, we believe that God’s grace is for everyone, and we seek to be a place where everyone can grow in His love through Jesus Christ. Thank you for visiting our website. We would love to have you join us as we seek to be the people God has created us to be, and do the things He has set before us to do. God’s richest blessings on your day!
