PRAYER CHAIN GUIDELINES
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have already received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
Faith Lutheran Church has a prayer chain and volunteers who agree to be a part of this prayer chain will stop what they are doing when a request is received and pray. We have listed the guidelines below. If you have any questions you may call the church office (610-253-1625).
1. Upon receiving a call, write the request exactly as given. Read back to caller for accuracy, and then hang up. Conversation should be limited to prayer requests only.
2. Pray immediately.
3. Call the next person on the chain, stating your reason for calling.
4. If there is no answer, you may leave a message on the answering machine and then continue to call the next person on the list.
5. Pray confidently and fervently throughout the day.
E-mail prayer warriors:
Please email your request to Eileen (faithlcms@verizon.net) or Lynette (hazel1@rcn.com).
Please do not send a prayer request to the list without sending it to either leader.
Please do not forward things to the email prayer chain list that are not requests.
Please add the people you would like to forward mail to as a separate list.
