ROAD RALLY RECAP (held October 12th)
Well, Paul and Frances M. won the Road Rally, along with their partners Erik and Kim W. If that sounds like it must not have been a good road rally, since the Paul and Frances usually get lost, think again. We had a perfect day, weather wise. We couldn't have asked for more. And Gloria and Karl put together a wonderful, scenic road rally which was challenging enough that one car gave up and went back to the church. Two other cars got very lost too, but I know everyone had a great time. And we were all surprised to find that our final destination was none other than one of the finest restaurants in Easton - Faith Lutheran church. Dinner was catered by chef Glen M., and we couldn't have had a better meal anywhere else. It was a wonderful way to spend such a nice fall day and we hope you'll join us next time.

November 2nd: All Saints' Sunday

November 4th: ELECTION DAY BAKE SALE
Bake Sale and Wreath Sale to benefit the Wish List. Bakers and volunteers are needed. A sign-up sheet for both are on the main bulletin board. All goodies can be brought to church Monday, November 3rd from 8:30-3PM or 6:30-8PM.

November 9th: Stewardship Sunday

November 16th: Commitment Sunday

November 19th at 6PM: Carpenter's Workshop
Will be held one week earlier due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Dinner will be ANYTHING but turkey!

November 26th at 7:30PM: Thanksgiving Eve Worship

December 27th: PAIRS AND SPARES HOLIDAY PARTY
Most likely a wine and cheese party. Details will be in the next newsletter, in the bulletin and on the bulletin board outside Eileen's office.

March 2009: PAIRS AND SPARES PROGRESSIVE DINNER

May/June 2009: PAIRS AND SPARES EVENT
Event to be announced.

July 12th 2009: PAIRS AND SPARES CLAM BAKE
Annual Clam Bake - a family affair.

October 2009: PAIRS AND SPARES WINE TOUR
Franklin Hill Wine Tour. Cost $10.00 per person. Arrangements will be made for those who want to go out to dinner afterwards.
