FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH AND PROJECT of EASTON are joining together to help meet the growing needs for food for the local community. We have been asked to collect canned soup on an ongoing basis. We invite you to bring donations and place them in the donation box in the narthex each and every Sunday.

NEW BIBLES for SANCTUARY BOOK RACKS
New Bibles have been purchased for the use of those who may wish to follow the scripture readings during worship. It may be noticed that they have the same cover colors as the new hymnals. They are the English Standard Version, which is the language used in the Lutheran Service Book and also in the bulletin inserts. Pastor Tafel and the Elders decided that they would like to see the change for uniformity and also to make the red Bibles, formerly in the pew racks, available for use in Sunday School rooms throughout the church. Since there have been many unused Memorial Funds, the purchase was made in memory of the following persons, with the blessing of their families: Gwen Ackerman, Marlene Bartholomew, Kay Borgeson, Debra Fisher, Phyllis Haydu, Florence Mutchler, Belle and Emmett Walters, Reverend Clarence and Myrna Roth, and Eugene Zarate.
